Under the authority of Article II, Section 9, and Article III, Section 17,                                                      
Constitution of the State of Alaska, and in the public interest, I hereby                                                       
amend my proclamation of May 17, 2023, calling the Thirty-Third                                                                 
Legislature of the State of Alaska into special session as follows:                                                             
                                                                                                                                
The Thirty-Third Legislature of the State of Alaska is called into its                                                          
first special session at Juneau, Alaska, in the legislative chambers, on                                                        
May 18, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., to consider passage of bills on subjects                                                           
germane to the titles of the following bills while those bills were under                                                       
consideration by the Senate and House of Representatives during the                                                             
first regular session:                                                                                                          
                                                                                                                                
• HB 39 or similar bill making appropriations for the operating and                                                             
     loan program expenses of state government and for certain                                                                  
     programs;                                                                                                                  
                                                                                                                                
• HB 41 or similar bill making appropriations for the operating and                                                             
      capital expenses of the state's integrated comprehensive mental
